The rollout of the NDIS is underway, with most eligible hearing participants expected to transition to the NDIS by July 2020. So, what does this mean for you and your current access to supports under the Commonwealth Government’s Hearing Services Program (HSP)?
Under current transitional arrangements, NDIS participants with a permanent hearing impairment can receive funding for assistive technology (AT) in your NDIS plan, in addition to receiving hearing devices under the Hearing Services Program.
